FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: connecting device is consists of a socket (2), connected by a horizontal section (16) with a sliding contact (4), inserted together with the socket (2) into a guide (6). The device has movable contacts (8) connected either by rigid conductors and clamps or directly with output contacts (11) through the movable contacts (8), which provide contact with current conducting tracks (13). In an alternative version, the connecting device has a socket (3), configured to close connection with the housing (21). The socket (3) serves as the base of the housing and is configured to disconnect from a free sliding contact (5), having grooves (24) in the horizontal section (17) of the sliding contact (5) and passing through the sliding contact (5), forming multiple cavities lying on one line, in which are mounted rectangular connectors (12), and pins (9) constantly in contact with current-conducting tracks (25), through which the pins (9) are connected to the electric mains.

EFFECT: providing safe movement of an infinite number of connecting elements along one or more guides owing to effective interaction thereof with each other and easier supply of electric power to different movable or fixed devices.
