FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: electrical connector consists of two mating parts – a plug and a socket, comprising a frame made of two parallel channels with holes for installing a combination of blocks and holes for fixing the structure, two housings made of high-strength electrically insulating polymer, having two through holes for fixing the plug with a mating socket and two holes in the ends for fixing the structure, fixed in channels on two opposite sides, as well as a combination of blocks fixed in the channels between the housings, the composition of which is determined depending on the use of the electrical connector, wherein on the plug housings on the side of interaction with the socket there are two guides of different diameters, and socket housings are provided with mounting holes for guides, which coincide with them in diameters.

EFFECT: wider range of applications and improved operational and repair manufacturability of the electrical connector due to change in its design, which enables to use a combination of blocks, including low-frequency, radio-frequency and high-voltage blocks.
