FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: compensator is designed for suppression of fluid fluctuations in both directions in the cavity of a drilling tool. The compensator consists of a casing inside which partition plates are installed that form closed chambers together with pistons so that the chambers are connected to the hole annulus by channels. Bushes are mounted to limit the pistons' stroke and to fix partition plates. Elastomeric springs and washers are installed between the pistons and the partition plates. The parts in the casing are mounted with an adapter sub. The casing is fitted by connection threads. Seals are provided to prevent overflows between the pistons and the partition plates and between the partition plates and the casing. The device pistons are mounted so that to provide for the possibility of suppressing the fluctuations in both directions.
EFFECT: improved reliability of suppressing the fluid fluctuations in both directions.
