FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: marine reverse reduction gear is fitted by a gear wheel (4) set between two coaxially set driven shafts (5, 7) and geared with a pinion (3) of a driving shaft (2), friction couplings (17, 18) with hydraulic control of the forward and backward movement are placed inside the gear wheel. The driving shaft (2) is connected to an output shaft (9) by the said gear wheel (4) and these couplings (17, 18) through the driven shafts (5, 7) of the forward and backward movement and in case of the forward movement through intermediate shafts (13, 14) with differential transmission.
EFFECT: higher reliability and compactness of a marine reverse reduction gear.
