SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Composition for protection of seed-planted and seedling paddy rice against harmful action of herbicide 6-(trisubstituted phenyl)-4-amino-2-piridincarboxylate of formula 
(I), where hal is F, Cl or Br, and R is methyl or ethyl, and its acceptable from agricultural point of view salts, ester and amide derivatives in addition to said herbicide contains active antidote or compatible herbicide, capable of protection, selected from group, consisting of beflubutamide, bispyribac, carfentrazon, cloquintocet, cyhalofop, dimurone, dichloromide, dimepiperate, phenchlorazole, phenchlorim, fluxofenim, furilazole, halosulfuron, isoxadifen, mefenpyr, norflurazon, oxabetrinil, pyrichlor, sulcotrione, 4-(dichloroacetyl)-1-oxy-4-asaspiro-[4,5]decane (AD67) and their mixtures. Weight ratio of herbicide to antidote or compatible herbicide constitutes from 1:4 to 1:32. Contact of said composition with rice or sown area is performed.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase protection efficiency.
