FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a package for food products and beverages with use of nutrient, such as probiotic. The container for delivery of nutrient comprises a housing having a base, at least one side wall and an upper wall in which a hole is made. The outer openable hermetic closure is removably attached to the outer side of the upper wall and surrounds the hole. The inner hermetic layer which is permanently attached to the inner side of the upper wall surrounds the hole. The inner hermetic layer and the outer openable hermetic closure are permanently attached to each other inside the hole. The nutrient is located between the inner hermetic layer and the outer openable hermetic closure so that when removing the outer openable hermetic closure and the inner hermetic layer the nutrient is exposed to action of content of the container.

EFFECT: invention provides the preservation of the properties of probiotics due to eliminating exposure to them of heat during sterilisation of the contents of container.
