FIELD: storing.
SUBSTANCE: container (10) for storing contents in separate compartments (C1, C2) before using comprises a first body (1) with a first compartment (C1) for the first contents (21). The first body (1) comprises an end (E1) and a first outer side wall (10a) extending around the first compartment. The container has a second body (2) with a second compartment (C2) for accommodation of the second contents (22). The second body comprises a second outer side wall (10b) extending around the compartment and an end (E2) opposite to the end (E1) of the first body of the container. The container includes a coupling apparatus (3) separate from the first and second bodies for connection thereof. The internal passage (4) allows for communication between the first and second compartments. The closure element (5) closes the internal passage (4) and comprises a membrane (5a) between the compartments, separating the first compartment from the second compartment. The coupling apparatus comprises a first connector (31) and a second connector (32), wherein each connector has an annular shape and the connectors are coupled with each other to provide a connection between the compartments. The first connector comprises an annular part (33) attached to the annular end (1a) of the first body. The second connector is attached to the annular end (2a) of the second body, is provided with a tool (6) for opening, and comprises a retaining element. The first connector is provided with a fastening element (31b) for coupling with the retaining element and preventing disconnection of the second connector from the first connector. The tool for opening the second connector is made movable relative to the first connector for moving from a position distanced from the internal passage sealed with the closure element to an activated position for opening the internal passage by opening the membrane and mixing the first and second contents.
EFFECT: manufacture of the container is cost-effective, and there are no restrictions on the type of connectable sections of the container.
