SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tightening devices for flexible coupling reverse gears. The device for tightening reverse gear arms with an infinite flexible element is mounted on a stand (1) during operation and has a drive (2) roller and a driven (3) roller connected by a flexible coupling (4), which consist of two arms (5) and (6). A swinging arm (7) is mounted in the plane of the flexible coupling (4), said swinging arm being attached by its end to a hinge (8) mounted on the stand (1). Two tension rollers (10) and (11) pivotally mounted at the other end of the swinging arm (7). Between the tension rollers (10) and (11), there is a load (12) which creates the tension force of the arms (5) and (6) and the flexible coupling (4), mounted on the arm (7) higher than the hinge (8).

EFFECT: longer service life of flexible coupling during transmission.
