SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to sports, in particular to reversers for training water skiers, comprising a drive, a tow line with a towing unit for water skier and with tightening device of tow line, this device comprises an additional fixed cable, which supports the towing line on entire length of latter's movements, two leading drums are used in a drive, synchronously rotating in one direction, with several turns of a tow line, passing from one drum to another, and in tightening device the tow line, pulling force of the rope with each reverse is only for one unloaded branch of the tow line.

EFFECT: technical task, solution of which is directed to the claimed device, is to increase safety during operation of the device, increase accuracy of passage of distance by a water skier, increase lifetime of the tow line, reduce power consumption of drive motor of the device and increase effectiveness of the training of water-skiers during off-season.
