SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. It covers the multimedia message exchange centre (MMSC) and method of caching of news to be transmitted to cell phone. MMSC comprises memory module, data message processing module and memory module (NAS) connected to network. In compliance with proposed method, after reception of multimedia message said MMSC decodes said message to define if it is an info message. If so, MMSC transmits multimedia message to info message processing module. Said info message processing module defines if said message is memorised in memory module. If so, said message is rejected while, on the contrary, said message is memorised in memory module.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of MMSC processing, better usability.
