SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method for implementing a multimedia message service (MMS) which involves: multimedia message service centre (MMSC) receiving a message submitting request; the MMSC searching a service trigger point which is subscribed for the user by a message service control function (MSCF) device in the stored message subscribe information according to a user identification (ID) carried by the message submitting request; and sending, by the MMSC, a service processing request to the MSCF when the service trigger point is reached, and the service processing request includes the user ID such that the MSCF searches, from the stored message subscribe information and in accordance with the user ID carried by the message processing request, the service to which the user is subscribed and performs the corresponding service processing.
EFFECT: reduced load on the multimedia message service centre.
