FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: anamnestic and clinical data are collected: the presence of a symptom of deep venous thrombosis, immobilisation or surgical intervention for the preceding 4 weeks, with a history of thromboembolia of the pulmonary artery (TEPA), malignant growth, cardiovascular diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. A score is assigned for each sign. A patient's age and erythrocyte sedimentation rate are specified. A collection of the derived data is used to predict a risk of developing TEPA.
EFFECT: method enables providing more accurate prediction of TEPA at the early stage of the disease that is ensured by the complex assessment.
