FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in order to compensate the longitudinal aerodynamic moment at the trolley boom there is an aerodynamic surface creating a lifting force, which is represented by an arrow-type wing with the attack angle of 3-12 degrees. In order to compensate lateral aerodynamic resistance the following method is used - creation of symmetric aerodynamic resistance. To this end the trolley boom has a shape of a double-arm lever, one part of it is a current-collecting part while the other one is directed forward and upwards and a vertical aerodynamic surface is located at it. In order to compensate harmful longitudinal inertial loads on the trolley boom the method is used which lies in compensation of inertia forces at the trolley boom by the opposite directed motion of the other weight. Different versions may be implemented for this mechanism, for example, at the base rotating in the horizontal plane in horizontal axes there is a flexible trolley boom with a gear wheel at the lower end and a lever with a weight at the upper end and a gear wheel at the lower end directed in its operational position forward and upwards, at that their gear wheels are engaged. Or there is a bracket at the trolleybus roof and the trolley boom in the shape of a double-arm lever is fixed at it in two planes.
EFFECT: provision of reliable current collection in a wide range of harmful loads.
