FIELD: physics, navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismic prospecting and can be used to prospect for hydrocarbons under the seabed and ocean floor, including in ice conditions on the North Sea shelf. The method employs zero buoyancy seismic hydroacoustic detection systems which are mounted at the bottom and in the water layer over the surface of the bottom. The seismic hydroacoustic detection systems give full information on the seismic hydroacoustic field at a measurement point. Said systems receive signals for hardware analysis of amplitude spectra of all components of the oscillating speed on three coordinate axes and hydroacoustic pressure, which enables to calculate amplitude spectra, as well as active and reactive components of the power spectrum of said components.
EFFECT: high accuracy of locating hydrocarbon deposits.
