FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rotor revolution detectors. At least one damping element (D) is arranged on rotor (1). Note here that two transducers (S1, S2) are spaced apart from rotor (1) and damping element (D). Said transducers (S1, S2) make an oscillation circuit damped, at larger or smaller extent, subject to the position of damping element (D). After rationing, measurements are executed by tracing the turn angle serial positions. For this, current damping time of transducers (S1, S2) is measured synchronously with count frequency and, then, rationing rules are applied to said measured damping time for said transducers (S1, S2). Now, said magnitudes are used to form the vector loaded in the system of coordinates. Thereafter, the current vector angle is defined and compared with appropriate prior vector angle. Results of the comparison are used to conclude if rotor (1) spins and if said revolution features forward or reverse direction.
EFFECT: higher precision of measurements.
