FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: at reference weightless calibration system, load is applied to multicomponent resistance strain gage weight sensors each of which comprises a basic bridge circuit of resistance strain gages aimed at weight measurement, and additional bridge circuits of resistance strain gages aimed at measurement of mechanical influence quantities. While loading the signals from the basic and additional bridge circuits of resistance strain gages at each weight sensor are measured, conversion characteristics of basic and additional bridge circuits of resistance strain gages are defined, for each multicomponent resistance strain gage weight sensor the functions of influence of signals from additional bridge circuits of resistance strain gages on the error of conversion of the basic bridge circuit of resistance strain gages are determined as well as limit permissible values of signals from the basic bridge circuit of resistance strain gages at this multicomponent resistance strain gage weight sensor does not fall beyond the permissible limits. On the operation site the measured weight is evaluated by the sum of signals from basic bridge circuits of resistance strain gages of all multicomponent resistance strain gage weight sensors under the prespecified limit permissible value of the signal from the additional bridge circuit of resistance strain gages provided with which the error of signal from the basic bridge circuit of resistance strain gages at this multicomponent resistance strain gage weight sensor does not fall beyond the permissible limits.
EFFECT: improved weighing accuracy and reliable definition of calibration interval for a balance.
