FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a measuring technique and can be used to increase the duration of intercalibration or intertesting intervals of sensors for the level of liquid media in tanks operating under pressure / rarefaction. Applications can be nuclear, thermal and hydropower, chemical and processing industries. Invention consists in performing the steps on which: level readings are obtained from diagnosed sensors of measuring channels (MC) level and readings from MC that characterize the thermodynamic phase and dynamically changing thermophysical parameters of the working medium in the tank and pulse lines of sensors, as well as static parameters, including the geometric characteristics of the structure, local acceleration of free fall at the site of the production facility; according to the indications of the level diagnosed by the MC level, the pressure difference is determined by inverse transformations, which corresponds to the averaged value of the pressure difference measured by the sensors; on the basis of the calculated pressure difference and the obtained readings on the thermodynamic phase and thermophysical parameters of the working medium in the tank and impulse lines of sensors, as well as the geometric parameters of the MC design, simulate the readings of the reference virtual level sensor; determine the standard deviation of the readings of each IR from the readings of the virtual sensor; compare the value of the standard deviation of each MC from a given margin of tolerance and judging by the results of the comparison, the health status of each MC is judged.
EFFECT: improving the accuracy of diagnosis.
