FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile cranes and can be used to increase their capacity. For cargo lifting mobile crane is used which contains running frame accommodating rotating jib lifting device, draft-coupling gears located at different sides of running platform, and trailers. After cargo has been lifted outriggers are switched on and crane is raised above track level, drive of trailers lock mechanisms are switched on, and their lifting force value is adjusted by means of decreasing when jib approaches being turned from perpendicular position to longitudinal axis and lock mechanism. Lifting force of locking drive located at opposite end of jib in turning angle range is maintained constant and maximal.
EFFECT: increase in operation efficiency of crane with towed wheeled counterweights and maintaining constant capacity at any crane turning angle including during operation along the right-of-way thus excluding influence of crane radius increase caused by length of trailers.
