FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric impact hammers. The hammer contains a cylindrical barrel connected to the rear casing, a tool holder including a site for a bit installation, percussion mechanism placed in the rear part of the barrel, a replaceable ring, a retaining ring, the front and rear cylindrical housings. The replaceable ring may rotate together with the tool holder and move in longitudinal direction. The retaining ring is placed in-between the replaceable ring and the barrel and is engaged with the replaceable ring in order to limit its rotation. The front cylindrical housing covers the front part of the barrel. The rear cylindrical housing covers rear part of the barrel and is installed in the rear casing. At one of external surfaces of the barrel and internal surface of the front housing there is a protrusion while at the other surface there is a groove with protrusion installed in it so rotation of the front housing in regard to the barrel is prevented by installation of the protrusion in the groove. There is a latching section in the peripheral area of the retaining ring. There is a latched section in front of the protrusion and groove in the internal surface of the front housing. The latching section is latched at the latched section so that forward movement of the front housing is limited by latching of the latching section at the latched section.
EFFECT: simpler fastening of the front housing in result.
