FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fiber-optic connector, premanufactured optical fiber, an adapter, a fiber termination unit, and a fiber-optic connection node. The claimed fiber-optic connector includes the main shank, a connecting part, and a fixing cuff. The main shank includes the front end and the rear end, which is remote from the front end. A through hole passing from the front end to the rear end is located in the main shank. The connecting part is rigidly connected to the front end and is partially located in the through hole. The fixing cuff includes a sealing part and a connecting part, which is connected to a side of the sealing part. The sealing part is connected with the possibility of rotation to the outer side of the front end. The connecting part is located on the side, which relates to the front end, and which is remote from the rear end. The connecting part is configured so that to partially accommodate the adapter, when the connecting part is inserted into the adapter. A fixing protrusion is located on the inner side of the connecting part. The fixing protrusion is configured so that to latch in a fixing groove of the adapter, when the fixing cuff is turned to the first angel relatively to the adapter. The first angle is less than or equal to 90°. Moreover, the fiber-optic connector additionally contains a sealing sleeve, one end of the sealing sleeve is put on the outer side of the rear end in a sealing way, and the other end of the sealing sleeve is configured so that to provide the possibility of insertion of an optical cable and the possibility of sealed connection to the optical cable. At the same time, the rear end contains a rubber section closer to the front end, and a metal section remote from the front end, the metal section is partially located in the rubber section and is rigidly connected to the rubber connection, and the sealing sleeve is hermetically connected to a part of the metal section and a part of the rubber section.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of connection between a fiber-optic connector and a fiber adapter with simultaneous simplification of fixation and disconnection.
