FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to magnetic therapy, and may be used to treat various diseases by the magnetic field exposure generated by a permanent magnet placed outside the body. A magnetic applicator comprises a flexible plate made of a high-permeability elastomer on the basis of a polymer binding and an excipient - a high-permeability powder, whereon there is the flexible plate made of a hard-magnetic elastomer on the basis of the polymer binding and the excipient - a hard-magnetic powder and magnetically charged in the direction perpendicular to the plate plane with alternating magnetic poles. The declared applicator on the basis of the double-layer elastomer generates the magnetic field being an order of magnitude greater than that in known analogues.
EFFECT: applicator is able to increase the 'length' of the magnetic field by 5-10 times as compared to the existing ones with the standard elastomer thickness (no more than 3 mm), and thereby to magnetise the adjoining parts of body by a depth 5 times greater, and thereby to intensify substantially a magnetotherapeutic effect of using the same.
