FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: production of permanent magnets is carried out by nitrogenation of a single-crystal billet produced from an alloy of rare earth metals with iron. At that, the growth rate of a single-crystal is in the range from 0.1 to 2 mm/s, and the degree of disordering of the texture is 3.6-30.7.
EFFECT: improving magnetic properties of magnets by increasing density and reducing degree of disordering of magnetic material particles.
