SUBSTANCE: invention involves general clinical and physical examination, biochemical blood examination in the course of treatment. A dynamic pancreatitis index (DPI) is determined every 24 hours by formula: DPI=(A1/A0)"Ч"(PS1/PS1)"Ч"( (L1/L0)"Ч"( (PF1/PF0), wherein: A1 is the current patient's blood amylase; A0 is the previous patient's blood amylase; PS1 is the current patient's average pulse; PS0 is the previous patient's average pulse; L1 is the current leukocyte count; L0 is the previous leukocyte count; PF1 is the current 'pain factor'; PF0 is the previous 'pain factor': PF is the 'pain factor', a degree of manifestation of pain syndrome appraised by points: 0 points - no rest and palpation abdominal pain; 1 point - palpation abdominal pain, no rest abdominal pain; 2 points - rest abdominal pain, increasing palpation abdominal pain; 3 point - pain syndrome accompanied by positive peritoneal symptoms. If DPI<1, the conducted anti-pancreatic therapy is considered to be effective and adequate. DPI≥1 shows inactive treatment that should be corrected.

EFFECT: simplified and more accurate determination of effectiveness of the conducted anti-pancreatic therapy.
