FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: level of α2-macroglobulin in blood serum is examined at admission to in-patient department. Then levels for each nosology are determined. At that levels of α2-macroglobulin equal to 200 mg/l are taken as 1 point, respectively levels of 800 mg/l are taken for 4 points and at that acute pancreatitis is diagnosed, and at the level of α2-macroglobulin in excess of 800 mg/l acute cholecystitis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: improvement of accuracy of differential diagnosis of acute pancreatitis and acute cholecystitis.
