SUBSTANCE: invention relates to car-building, specifically to self-dumping boxcar intended predominantly for transportation and unloading of bulk goods, for instance mined rocks from open-pit mines. Self-dumping boxcar includes mechanism for board opening and closing located on car end wall and consisting of double-armed lever connected with strut and linkage the second end of which is connected with board loop. Linkage of mechanism for board opening and closing is made of two half-linkages interconnected by cylindrical articulated joint. One half-linkage (7) is connected with lever (9) of board (5) opening and closing mechanism and is made (5) composed of two parallel elements. The second half-linkage (1) is connected with loop (4) of board (5) by cylindrical articulated joint via eccentric disk. The eccentric disk is installed in hole made in half-linkage (1) and can be rotated and stopped on the half-linkage to change its length.

EFFECT: increased durability of board opening and closing mechanism.
