FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to counterweight blocks for self-propelled cranes. Device with counterweight blocks contains a pair of connected counterweight blocks having top and bottom surfaces where the mentioned blocks have connecting plane along their adjacent sides. Shear-shaft is fixed with possibility to be disconnected between adjacent sides of connected counterweight blocks and is mounted essentially perpendicular to connecting plane to create resistance to relative vertical movement of connected counterweight blocks along connecting plane. Each counterweight block has at least in one its wall a recess passing from top surface of counterweight block to less depth than counterweight block thickness. The recess has a flange for gripping by hand. A hole can be created through the rest width of counterweight block in each recess where fastening strap can be passed through all holes of multiple stacked counterweight blocks to fasten them together.
EFFECT: decreased counterweights transportation and assembling time, excluding roll-over during crane operation.
