SUBSTANCE: method lies in replacement of a three-wire power transmission line by an eight-terminal circuit, experimental determination of its coefficients, and calculation of consolidated secondary parameters for this power transmission line. The coefficients of the eight-terminal circuit are determined in result of performance of six experiments. In result of analytical treatment of the experimental data phase coefficients for the resultant incident and reflected waves of an electromagnetic field in each linear wire, consolidated self-surge and mutual surge impedance, phase rates for incident and reflected waves of the electromagnetic field are determined in each linear wire.
EFFECT: improvement of control precision and diagnostics for the three-phase power transmission lines of the three-wire design.
