FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method of determination of primary and consolidated secondary parameters at uniform section of three-wire power transmission line by eight-terminal circle refers to monitoring and diagnostics of three-wire power transmission lines with multi-terminal circuits. Method involves replacement of a uniform section of three-wire power transmission line by eight-terminal circuit, experimental determination of its coefficients, and calculation of primary and consolidated secondary parameters for this section. Eight-terminal circuit coefficients are determined by two idle test cycles and two short-circuit tests in full-phase and open-phase modes. Analytical processing of test data results in determination of phase coefficients for the resultant waves of electromagnetic field, consolidated self-surge and mutual surge impedance, phase rates, active impedance, self-inductance and mutual inductance of line wires.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of primary and consolidated secondary parameters in a uniform section of three-wire power transmission line.
