SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the blender cover and its method of operation. The cover which is made with the ability to secure on the container comprises an upper wall, a side wall extending downwardly from the said upper wall, and one guide rib extending downwardly from the said upper wall and inwardly away from the said side wall. The method of minimising the swirling motion that occurs in the blender container having an open upper part, according to which the open upper part of the container is covered with the cover, thus placing one guide rib which is supported by the cover on the swirling motion trajectory.

EFFECT: reduction of swirling motion in the container.
