SUBSTANCE: proposed axle comprises bolster with final drives with drive sprockets and brakes, gearboxes, side clutches, side clutch control mechanism with two-way hydraulic cylinder, tie rod, drive drum, drive drum guard board, compensation shaft and drive and drive mechanism. Side clutch and brake control mechanisms are not articulated and controlled separately from the cabin. Vanes are arranged at drive drum outer surface over its entire width and regularly over the entire periphery of drive drum diametral surface. Said board has slotted vents making the shutters. Note here that heat-isolation bush is arranged between the surface of radial-thrust bearing ID and side clutch release plate pouter surface.
EFFECT: higher reliability owing to efficient protection against overheating.
