SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to improved gripping device intended to be used in an injector module for long-length pipes. The gripping device comprises a bearing element to fix the gripping device on a chain drive mechanism of the injector module for long-length pipes and a gripping shoe supported by the bearing element.
EFFECT: gripping device proposes a bearing element and a gripping shoe designed so that to provide for fast and easy removal and replacement of the gripping shoe in the course of field operation of an injector module at long-length pipes.
