FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: vehicle suspension torsion rod-tubular resilient element contains rod-type and tubular shafts, the first and the second support brackets, stepped shafts, driven and driving sections of rod torsion shaft. The rod shaft is concentrically installed in tubular shaft, ends of each of the shafts at one side are placed in the first support bracket attached to vehicle body, and the other end of rod shaft is rigidly linked with the second support bracket also attached to vehicle body and is linked with the other end of tubular shaft. Rod and tubular shafts are made stepped. Sections of one step of each of the shafts fixed in the first support bracket, and sections of shafts fixed in the second support bracket are driving and driven. The mentioned shaft sections are made of different rigidity. Driven and driving sections of rod torsion shaft are kinematically connected with heteronymous sections of tubular torsion shaft by means of couplings with radial gaps. One end of tubular shaft along outer surface and the first bracket, as well as its other end along inner surface and driven section of rod shaft are connected by spline joints.
EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency of torsion shaft operation, simplification of design and reduction of its radial dimensions.
