FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: excite the free decaying torsional oscillations of the transmission by cyclic repeated loading of the drive shaft with torque with sharp unloading. Preliminary hard fixation of the output end of the driven transmission shaft is performed. Registration of damped free oscillations is performed by means of a tensometric torsion shaft rigidly connected to the output end of the driven shaft of the transmission element being examined. Determine the damping coefficient through the mathematical expectation of the logarithmic decrement. Stand for determining the damping properties of the transmission elements contains a frame. Vertical plate (2) comprises a central hole and exchangeable brackets (3) for securing transmission element (4) to be examined thereon coaxially with the load mechanism. Adjustment mechanism includes frame (5) with a longitudinal-transverse slide and carriage (6). Loading device is made in the form of wave motor-reducer (17). Coupling half (21) is mounted on the output end of drive shaft (22).
EFFECT: higher accuracy of the estimation of the transmission dynamics is achieved.
