FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed propulsor is made in the form of star, preferably three-rayed, installed on snowmobile frame and rotated by means of engine and chain transmission. In the ray apices of the mentioned star ski are installed with possibility of their rotation relative to the star in the points of their attachment to rays and with possibility of axial vertical displacement. Each of skis is made of at least two pivotally interconnected parts which provides ski displacement in vertical plane when the main star is rotating. The ski are installed in ray apices so that distance from ski tip to mounting point is equal to 0.2…0.4, preferably, 0.25 of ski length. On the running surface of the mentioned ski notches are made providing ski movement in one direction.
EFFECT: decrease in weight and better sliding of snowmobile.
