SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering. Processes of heat regeneration in a cycle on the basis of heat regenerators with a heat storage packing are introduced in the proposed direct and inverse thermochemical cycles between the main sorption processes. Two or more layers of metal hydrides with different sorption properties, enclosed in separate sections in one generator-absorber are applied in thermal sorption cycles. The generator-absorber is configured as a block unit. Different types of systems with the use of computers are applied for monitoring and control.

EFFECT: invention allows equally efficient heat converting of renewable energy sources: geothermal, solar, wind and heat energy of heated gas or fluid flows into the other forms of energy, namely, into mechanical energy, heat energy for heating the buildings, as well as in getting cold.
