FIELD: refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: metallohydride refrigerator has rotor with sorbers filled with high-temperature metallohydride at one end and with low-temperature metallohydride at other end, stator with cylindrical housing and branch pipes for supply of heat-transfer agents to high-temperature, average- temperature and low-temperature sectors and discharge of these agents from these sectors; sectors are divided by radial seals; provision is also made for transversal heat-insulating shield dividing rotor into high- temperature and low-temperature units. On side of low-temperature unit, stator is provided with cold regeneration loop laid between low- temperature ends of sorbers located between outlet of low-temperature sector and inlet of average-temperature sector on one side and between outlet of average-temperature sector and inlet of low-temperature sector on other side; fan may be mounted in regeneration loop inside rotor.
