FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing poly(organo)(alkoxy)(hydroxy)siloxanes with given degrees of polycondensation (n<1) via acidohydrolytic polycondensation of corresponding alkoxy(organo)silanes, wherein the molar amount (x) of carboxylic acid for synthesis of poly(organo)alkoxysiloxane with a defined value n<1 and completely condensed polyorganosiloxane (n=1) from a separate alkoxy(organo)silane and/or a mixture of monomers with the same functionality is calculated using the equation x = n f y / 2          ( 1 ) , where f is functionality and y is the molar amount of alkoxy(organo)silane, for a mixture of different-functionality alkoxy(organo)silanes using the equation x = n Σ f i y i / 2               ( 2 ) , where fi is functionality and yi is the molar amount of separate alkoxy(organo)silanes, wherein for synthesis of polyorganohydroxysiloxane with a given value n<1 from a separate alkoxy(organo)silane and/or a mixture of monomers with the same functionality, the molar amount (x) of carboxylic acid is calculated using the equation x = f y ( 2 n ) / 2         ( 3 ) , for a mixture of different-functionality alkoxy(organo)silanes using the equation x = ( 2 n ) Σ f i y i / 2          ( 4 ) , and when using water or aqueous alcohol as an acidohydrolytic polycondensation reaction activator for all polyorganosiloxanes, the carboxylic acid load is reduced by the amount (molar) of the water used or water in alcohol taking into account the amount of water in the inorganic acid.

EFFECT: disclosed method enables to obtain said compounds with given degrees of polycondensation with high output.
