FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system is intended for training pilots and controllers in prevention of aircraft collision and comprises workstations of two pilots in cockpits of two aircraft and controller workstations. Pilot workstations comprise aircraft control system, autothrottle system, onboard computer connected with central computer and, via input adapter, with navigation hardware. Besides, it comprises data display system and plane-to-plane communication hardware. Ground training system comprises controller workstation including data display system, navigation hardware, communication and observation hardware, control-and-correct station connected with central computer. There are two aircraft mock-ups with pilot workstations, aircraft flight simulators with aircraft control system simulators and autothrottle system, and navigation and flight control hardware. The latter comprises satellite and inertial navigation systems, air signal system, short range radio navigation system, radar, aircraft onboard computer simulators connected with aircraft control system and data display system connected with central computer via communication adapter. Additionally, controller workstation incorporates radar mock-up, control-and-correct station mock-up, and communication adapters connected with central computer.
EFFECT: co-training of pilots and controllers.
