FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and is to be utilised for design of symmetric communication cables within a shared network or structured cable systems. A symmetrical unshielded 48-pair cable of category 6 with improved characteristics comprises strands in polymer insulation, pair-twisted breaking insulating cord and polymer shell with a ledge on its outer surface, which defines location of the breaking insulating cord under the shell, one lay comprising four bundles, in which there are three four-pair elements in each bundle, at the same time each four-pair element comprises four pairs, every of which is twisted with the chosen pitch, and three pairs are separated from each other with a polymer tube and are twisted around the fourth pair, placed into the polymer tape with overlapping of edges along the entire length of the cable, and all four pairs are placed into the polymer tape, applied with overlapping of edges also along the whole length, at the same time three such modules are separated from each other with a three-rayed polymer element and are placed into the polymer tape with overlapping of the edges along the entire length of the cable, and every such bundle is separated from three other such bundles with a four-rayed polymer separating element.
EFFECT: invention made it possible to reduce proximity effect and their mutual impact in the range of frequencies up to 300 MHz.
