FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering and more specifically to an exercise apparatus, particularly for walking and running while generating a longitudinal axial load on the astronaut, designed for use in a spacecraft in weightlessness conditions.
EFFECT: preventing the transmission of dynamic forces arising during operation of the exercise machine in the form of pushes, shocks, vibrations and, as a result, stress on the spacecraft structure when astronauts are exercising on the exercise machine with a treadmill on-board the spacecraft, enabling operation of the exercise machine in both manual and automatic mode, creation of a file with exercise data for subsequent transmission to the Earth, presence of a stress-measuring system, shorter time for maintenance of the disclosed exercise machine.
