FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: centrifugal impeller is designed to allow fluid flow there through. Note here that said impeller (18) comprises blades (24, 25) each including rib of attack and streamline rib (24F, 25F). Revolution of said impeller (18) causes fluid suction via impeller front part. Fluid flows to impeller (18) outer periphery at the level of blade streamline rib (24F, 25F). Blades (24, 25) are bent in direction opposite the impeller rotation in radial cross-section plane cutting streamline rib (24F, 25F). Part of streamline rib is straightened in direction of impeller rotation so that it makes the end blade (26, 27) deflect the fluid flow at straightening it radially.
EFFECT: higher compression ratio and isentropic efficiency.
