FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a light emitting device (2) comprising a source (10) of the primary light, a light-transforming medium (14) and an optical structure (16). The source of the primary light is located on the substrate (11). The light-transforming medium containing phosphors (14) is designed to transform at least a part of the primary light into secondary light (II) of different length. The light-transforming medium forms remote phosphoric configuration. The optical structure is designed to receive a part of the secondary light (II) from the light-transforming medium and is designed to redirect the part of the secondary light in the direction of the first plane, but from the source (10) of the primary light. The optical structure (16) comprises a plurality of surfaces (17) which are oriented so that the part of the secondary light redirected towards the first plane defines an area at least partially surrounding the source of the primary light.
EFFECT: due to providing an optical structure that redirects the secondary light from the source of the primary light, it is possible to reduce substantially or eliminate the absorption of the secondary light by the source of the primary light and, in addition, the light efficiency can be increased by redirecting this secondary light in such direction that it is transmitted from the light emitting device.
