SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for operation of a dishwashing machine (GS), particularly - a household washing machine, where the tableware positioned inside at least one inner chamber (IR) is at least periodically treated with a heated liquid; for the liquid heating air is at first passed through a dehydrating material (ZEO) suitable for exothermic drying; then the air carrying the heated liquid removed from the dehydrating material (ZEO) is supplied into the inner chamber (IR) though the outlet hole (AU); one cools the outlet hole (AU) and ensures the coolant medium circulation by means of a circulation pump (UP) envisaged for treating tableware with the liquid; during the outlet hole (AU) cooling, the circulation pump (UP) is actuated at a lower rotation rate than during the tableware treatment with the liquid.
