FIELD: oil-and-gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production and transportation of oil. Invention aims to increasing reliability and efficiency of electrostatic charges by placing discharge electrode in neutralisation chamber and increasing the area of contact with fluid flow. Proposed device comprises discharge electrode to be mounted at pipeline with the help of flange joint. In compliance with this invention, pipe inner surface is lined with polyethylene. Bolts joints of the flanges are isolated by polyethylene sleeves. Discharge electrode composed by toothed ring is arranged between flanges and connected via drain cable secured to said ring with grounding device.
EFFECT: decreased electrostatic potential distributed over oil pipeline inner surface and corrosion of metal pipes.
