FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: suggested device for neutralisation of electrostatic charges consists of a body mounted at the pipeline by means of a flanged connection with the discharge electrode in the form of metal strings is installed inside this flange; according to the suggested invention the discharge electrode is installed perpendicular to motion of the flow of water-oil mixture and it is made as a ring with copper strips and rod forming a screen; herewith the rod is installed so that it matches a groove for flanges, at that the rod is isolated by a polyethylene bushing and connected to a drain copper cable and the ground conductor.
EFFECT: lesser overall dimensions of the device due to simplification of its design; increase in performance, reduction of electrostatic charges redistribution between the pipeline and oil.
