FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pressure welding equipment, in particular, to installations for diffusion welding of materials in solid state, in particular, of metals or metals with non-metals or non-metals with non-metals and may be used in electronic and aircraft industry. The device contains a vacuum chamber, a table and a pressure application mechanism with a rod. The device is equipped with capacitor bank with contacts, the rod rotation drive and an electromotor with a shaft. The rod head part is designed in the form of eccentrically and inclinedly installed spherical segment the external surface whereof is designed in the form of alternating metal and non-metal plate-like strips periodically closing the capacitor bank contacts during the rod rotation. The rod is designed so that to enable disconnection from the shaft of its rotation electromotor drive at the moment of electric explosion.
EFFECT: device technologic capabilities expansion and ensuring better strength of welded connection due to creation of a series of electric explosions at specific time intervals.
