FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of diffusion welding of metal-ceramic units of vacuum-tube devices. Connecting components of units are squeezed through intermediate spacer and gasket explosion by supply of current pulses. Gasket is made of three parallel sections with different electric resistance. Electrical resistance of extreme sections of gasket is 5–10 times greater than that of its middle section. First, the middle section of the gasket and then its extreme sections are separated by successive supply of current pulses to the gasket.
EFFECT: method eliminates expansion of spacer material during electric explosion and ensures high quality of welded joint.
