SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to ventilation systems, in particular to roof ventilation systems that provide protection of buildings from fire. The roof ventilation system is equipped with a device to protect against embers and fire, which prevents the spread of fire, embers and other moving combustibles, while providing air flow sufficient for proper ventilation of the building. Description of several designs of ventilation systems is proposed, in which the deflecting baffles and fire-proof mesh material are used, and which prevent the penetration of moving embers and fire.
EFFECT: providing protection of buildings from fire.
