FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to vial adapters used for fluid transfer between a vial and another container. The vented adapted comprises: a cannula having a drug container, a ventilation cavity and a point end; a body portion comprising a drug opening connected with the drug container in the cannula, and a ventilation opening connected with the ventilation cavity of the cannula; a first filter arranged between the ventilation cavity of the cannula and the ventilation opening and enabling the passage of a gas-dispersed fluid, thereby blocking a non-dispersed fluid; a second filter arranged between the first filter and the ventilation opening and enabling the absorption of the gas-dispersed fluid; a third filter arranged between the second filter and the ventilation opening and preventing the passage of bacteria. The group of inventions also refers to a version of the adapter additionally comprising a flexible fastener for attachment to the vial and a valve connected with the drug container in the cannula, and to a method of aerosol entrapment when using the vial with a pierced partition wall by means of said adapter.

EFFECT: group of inventions prevents an aerosol drug form escaping into the environment; as well as enables avoiding the ingress of environmental bacteria in vial content when taking the content.
