FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of transport vessel protection against attack and capture by terrorists, in particular to field of engineering connected with development of methods and means of sea freighters and river vessels of unlimited navigating zone in open sea and inshore waters protection against attack and capture by terrorists in absence of police and other emergency reaction forces. The method for water transport facilities protection against terrorists consists in the following: non-lethal weapon based on irritant, for instance CS, is installed on vessel in weapon system with unmanned aircrafts, both reconnaissance and attacking, on the area not less than 10000 m2, as well as system for reconnaissance of dangerous region in the zone of direct visibility up to ±15 miles wide relative to line of vessel march by preliminary routing is installed, and reconnaissance vehicle is forwarded directly to an object found by ship's radar under tracking by "Antiterror" hardware-software complex, and when vessel moves in narrow water an aquatic area reconnaissance is conducted in each way from mid-channel line to coast line provided with observation stations equipped with "Antiterror" hardware-software complex. Herewith, reconnaissance vehicle is held on the height permitting to find object in actual weather conditions, and in case of dangerous object detection following tactics are implemented: demonstrative-warning fly of reconnaissance vehicle around the object classified by complex operators together with navigators as non-hazardous at the time of detection is performed, demonstrative-warning attack by attacking vehicle of the object classified as potentially dangerous is performed with placement of aerosol cloud at distance from the object of R=0.5D±d, where D is known lateral dimension of expanding cloud (when this dimension is reached irritant inhalant concentration becomes human permissible), and d value is determined at place component of cloud wind deflection towards the object, while going in opposite direction, covert, at minimum possible height, attack by attacking vehicle of the object classified as dangerous is performed with placement of curtain cloud preventing vessel capture by suspected persons by their preventive neutralisation.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of antiterrorism protection on water transport facilities.
